"The BAM-i-festo"

It came down to the wire, but we are excited to announce that The Bam is now under contract and will NOT be closing the doors.

The new owner's name is Jeff Weaver.  Jeff graduated from Mizzou in 2005 with a degree in Finance and he and his wife Jessica own the Quiznos franchise in the Broadway Shops.

Not only are we excited to see the restaurant continue for the sake of our employees and customers, but we are especially relieved that it will be in capable hands.  The restaurant business is a young man's game and Jeff has the smarts and the energy to take Bambino's to the next level.

Jeff and I will be working together in May and he'll officially take over in June.  I may stick around for a little bit after that depending on how much he needs me, but this will be my final BAM-i-festo update now that Jeff is going to be the one running the show.

Jeff is currently exploring a few different locations, but he still hasn't decided yet where the restaurant will move.  The lease runs through the end of November, so The Bam will remain at its current location through the summer and into next semester until the new location is ready to move into.

We know there has been a great deal of uncertainty about the future of The Bam and we appreciate the loyal support and understanding of our employees and customers while we've been working on getting it all figured it out.  Thankfully this story has a happy ending and I look forward to helping Jeff lead Bambino's for the next 15 successful years.
